🧩 문법 · Grammar — 이에요 / 예요 (to be)

One rule, decided by the last sound of the noun: consonant → 이에요 · vowel → 예요.

Two more moves:

Ask it — same shape with 뭐 in the middle: 이름이 뭐예요? (What's your name?) · 직업이 뭐예요? (What do you do?)
There's no separate "am / is / are" — Korean glues it onto the end of the noun: 저는 학생이에요 = as for me — student-am.
